Introduction
It was 2022 when I was new to fragrances, I mean really really new to discovering new brands, and everywhere I searched, there was one particular fragrance that was popping out – Warm Vanilla Sugar by Bath & Body Works. It was launched in 2001.
In this article, I am going to cover everything about this fragrance, it’s performance, scent profile, it’s price, if it’s worth the price and FAQ’s that you might have.
1. Warm Vanilla Sugar – My Honest Review
I was sure to include Warm Vanilla Sugar in my collection as I love anything that has vanilla. This was for sure in my mind a YES to invest my money on. Since it was a starting point, it was a bit expensive to me as it is just a body mist and not a perfume.
Till then, I had other Bath & Body Works body mists, some of them were a fail for me, so I was a bit scared as of how it would smell like.
I ordered it, got my parcel and sprayed it on my hand, and you know what? I didn’t like it at all. It was not a vanilla fragrance that I was expecting.
All I could smell was alchohol and sugar which is not at all warm, instead, it smelt cool along with the sugar, which is not a fragrance people will like. It smelt plastick-ey, synthetic and I could not smell any vanilla.
As of some reviews, some people told that it was reformulated and it was not the same as the older versions. I mean I get it, but how could there be no prominent vanilla scent if it was sold in the name of WARM VANILLA SUGAR?
My money was wasted. I would prefer Victoria’s Secret Bare Vanilla which is sexy, smells like white chocolate mixed with vanilla, and lasts all day.

Warm Vanilla Sugar on Skin
Warm Vanilla Sugar when applied to skin smells less alchoholy as it fades away after a few seconds. It is very suble on skin than on clothes. In clothes, it smells more like alchohol, but on skin, it smells like a very suble almost like a vanilla skin scent.
Also, this is not an usual mass appealing vanilla, it’s mature and somewhat to me is synthetic.It barely lasts on skin and projection is very less.

Warm Vanilla Sugar comes in a size of 236ml with a cost of $16.95, which you can also get it during the sale at just $4-$5, and also travel sizes of 75ml for $4.83.
4. Does Warm Vanilla Sugar smell like alchohol?
Yes, it smells like alchohol and smells synthetic on clothes, but on skin, it fades away, leaving you with the very subtle vanilla close to skin scent. However, it lacks the WOW factor.
5. Does Bare Vanilla smell like Warm Vanilla Sugar?
No, Bare Vanilla is amazing and smells richer and expensive, whereas Warm Vanilla Sugar smells like alchohol and synthetic.
6. Is Warm Vanilla Sugar seasonal?
It is an all year round scent, and not just bound to use in a particular type of season or weather.
Conclusion
Would I use this product? Definately NO. Would I repurchase it? Absolutely not. This is not my kind of vanilla. I gravitate towards those vanilla fragrances that has a seductive and sensual touch to it. I love Kayali Vanilla 28, which got me so many complements when I wore it. Absolutely transitions into something sensual and lasts long as well.
