How to have a GLOW UP- 7 Powerful Steps Guide to Mental, Physical, Emotional and Spiritual Glow Up

Introduction

Some of you may be thinking what does Glow up mean? Glow up is an informal term used to define a positive transformation, typically one involving significant changes in appearance and style and often also growth in confidence and maturity which maybe in personal life as well as in professional life.

Here are some of the glow up tips which has helped me get my desired results in a month.

1. Drink Water

Drinking water is an essential part of our body. Water not only helps us to be hydrated, but also makes our skin glow.

If you’re someone who have acne, pimples & skin problems, then you must drink enough water to get your body so hydrated that your skin shines. You must drink 3-4 litres of water daily to see results and have a glow up.

Drinking enough water boosts skin health and makes your body hydrated and energised to get your work done.

2. Read Books

Having knowledge about pretty much everything like current trends, current affairs, the economic condition of the country, or anything related to self-help & motivation will force you to change your mindset.

You will be more confident while speaking in public – around friends and in workplace where your opinion matters.

3. Move Your Body

I’ve read several books and articles on how moving body increases blood circulation and also keeps people healthy and active. Moving body has a direct impact on memory and body strength.

Going to gym, working out at home, dancing, doing yoga, gymnastics etc and any other form of movement benefits your body and mind as well.

4. Meditate

Today’s generation is totally consumed by internet and social media and gadgets. This makes it difficult for people to concentrate or focus on the tasks performed.

Here comes the benefits of meditation. If you are someone who is spiritual or someone who meditates daily will know how meditation calms down anxiety and overthinking. Meditation not only provides peace but also helps making decisions wisely.

As meditation calms the mind, thus it helps to understand every circumstance or situations life presents. Meditating for atleast 5-10 minutes a day can change your life.

5. Eat Healthy

Eating habit is a major factor which determines your skin, your moods, and the way your body looks.

If you want to look healthy from inside out, investing in eating greens like salad, avocados, and seeds like chia, fruits and nuts. Instead of consuming junk foods (I’m not saying you should completely stop consuming) eat healthy meals which has more fibre and rich in protein & calcium, omega and vitamins.

6. Maintain a Journal

I’ve been through thick and thin, and I know everyone does. I’ve used journaling as a part of my healing process.

Journaling or writing down how you feel will make you uncover your real self, when you ask yourself about how you feel, you’ll know the reason behind why is it how you feel.

Journalling brings clarity in mind, and also you can track your behaviours and thought cycle and patterns.

7. Daily Skincare Routine

Having a daily skincare routine will help you know your skin. You’ll also know how not only internal but also external factors- skin matters and shows your love towards your body.

The way you take care of yourself is the way people will take care of you. So, you should take care of yourself such that you radiate through your skin and people perceive you as a high value person.
